Refund & Cancellation Policy

Introduction
At Berui Pryag Shiksha Samiti, we value your trust and support in our mission of Gau Seva, social welfare and community service. This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms for refunds and cancellations related to donations, service requests, event registrations, and other activities. By engaging with our services, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Donations
General Donation Policy
All donations made to Berui Pryag Shiksha Samiti are final and non-refundable. As a charitable organization, donations are used to support ongoing Gau Seva, social and welfare activities.
Why Donations Are Non-Refundable
- Donations are utilised for cow feeding, medical care, gaushala maintenance and community services
- Tax-related implications may apply under Indian law
- Donations are treated as voluntary contributions
Exceptional Circumstances
Refunds may be considered only in rare cases such as:
- Duplicate payment due to technical error
- Incorrect amount debited
- Unauthorized transaction
- Multiple deductions due to system error
👉 Requests must be made within 7 days of the transaction with proper proof.
2. Services / Materials (if applicable)
Refund Eligibility
Refund or replacement may be provided if:
- Incorrect service or item is delivered
- Service was not fulfilled as promised
- Quality issues are reported with valid proof
Timeline
- Report issue within 48 hours
- Refund processed within 7–10 business days after verification
Non-Refundable Cases
- Change of mind
- Delay in reporting
- Incorrect details provided by user
- Service already delivered or consumed
3. Event Registrations & Programs
Cancellation by Participant
- 15+ days before event: 75% refund
- 7–15 days before event: 50% refund
- Less than 7 days: No refund
Cancellation by the Samiti
If we cancel or reschedule an event:
- Full refund, or
- Transfer to next event, or
- Credit for future participation
Transfer of Registration
You may transfer your registration to another person up to 7 days before the event with prior notice.
4. Sponsorships & Special Activities
- Cow Sponsorships & Program Sponsorships: Non-refundable once confirmed
- Community Services (e.g. food distribution, gau-gras): Cancellation allowed only if informed in advance (minimum 3 days)
- Special Campaigns: Non-refundable after confirmation
5. Refund Process
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please:
- Email us at beruiprayagshikshasamiti@gmail.com
- Provide transaction ID / receipt
- Mention reason clearly
- Attach supporting proof (if required)
We will respond within 3–5 business days.
Refund Method
Refunds will be processed to the original payment method:
- UPI / Wallet: 3–5 business days
- Bank Transfer: 5–7 business days
- Card Payments: 7–10 business days
Processing Charges
Payment gateway or transaction charges (if applicable) may be deducted from the refund amount unless the error is from our side.
6. 80G Receipt & Refund
If an 80G receipt has already been issued for a donation that is later refunded, the donor must not claim tax exemption on that amount. The corresponding 80G receipt will be cancelled and a confirmation will be sent.
7. Cancellation of Recurring Donations
Donors who have set up monthly / recurring donations may cancel future deductions at any time by emailing beruiprayagshikshasamiti@gmail.com. Cancellation will take effect from the next billing cycle. Donations already processed will not be refunded.
8. Important Notes
- Refund decisions are subject to internal review
- Partial refunds may be issued based on case evaluation
- Any bank charges during refund will be borne by the user
- All refund requests are subject to verification and the final decision rests with the management of Berui Pryag Shiksha Samiti

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our services means you accept the updated policy.
